É que um rapaz, distraído por estar mexendo no celular, passou com o carro em cima do membro inferior da sertaneja e o impacto fissurou um osso. “Estava em Goiânia, indo para o escritório, que é bem perto de casa quando aconteceu”, explicou. Porém, nem o incidente impediu ela e a irmã de seguirem com seus compromissos. “Somos workaholics”, brincou.

Eu cuido da minha mãe, do meu pai. Então, tenho essa preocupação”, ressaltou Maiara. Em agosto, as cantoras realizaram a primeira turnê nos Estados Unidos, onde foram reconhecidas por brasileiros. Apesar de terem gostado da experiência, o foco da carreira não é o exterior. “Eu não tenho vontade de fazer carreira internacional, como a Anitta está fazendo. Eu quero ficar no Brasil mesmo, eu gosto muito daqui”, confessou Maiara.

No início do mês, Maiara acalmou os fãs depois da intervenção. “A gente tirou dez dias de folga porque eu precisava passar por um processo cirúrgico. Acabei passando, na barriga, deu tudo certo. Quero dizer que está tudo bem, não corro nenhum risco de vida. Já está tudo certo. Minha recuperação está sendo um sucesso, minha cirurgia foi maravilhosa”, declarou na ocasião.
